Prague has more than fifty tennis facilities. This selection of seven includes some of the largest, most accessible or most traditional venues, all feature quality playing surfaces and offer online booking systems.
1. I. ČLTK Prague, Štvanice
The largest tennis complex in the Czech Republic, 29 courts on Štvanice, home to the Skoda Open Prague (WTA challenger). Clay, grass and hard surfaces. Atmosphere of a historic club; higher prices (non-members approx. 500-700 Kč/h depending on the court).
2. TK Sparta Praha
35 courts at Letná, the highest number of courts in a single complex in Praha. A combination of indoor halls and outdoor clay courts. A wide range of prices, suitable for regular players as well as ad-hoc bookings.
3. SK Aritma Praha
14 courts in Vokovice, a traditional Prague club. Outdoor clay courts and covered courts in the winter hall. Bookings currently by phone or email, less tech-focused, but with a solid core of regular players.
4. SK Žižkov Prague
A more intimate complex with three courts in a central location (Praha 3). Online booking via iSportSystem; view available slots without registration. Ideal for players from the city centre after work.
5. Wilson tenis centrum
18 courts in Modletice near Prague (south-east). Quality surfaces, online booking via Jdemenato. A good choice if you live in the south of Prague and don't want to drive across the whole city.
6. Hector Sport Centre
4 tennis courts in Malešice, plus squash and other sports under one roof. Bookings via our own website. Ideal for groups wishing to combine sports during a single visit.
7. Tempo Tenis - Lhotka
7 courts in Praha 4, connected with the sister branch in Modřany. Artificial turf and hard surfaces, popular with families and junior training groups. Online booking via Jdemenato.
